On April 24,
the Fall-Winter 2012/13 Karl Lagerfeld Paris collection was unveiled in Milan. As to
be expected, there were numerous signature Lagerfeld elements to be
found, such as his predilection for black and white, a military rigor,
an edgy rocker quality - especially in the accessories, and his infamous
collars that have also revealed themselves to be a broader trend this
season with numerous other designers.
There were some surprises, though, such as the flashes of color, mostly red, and the playful and nearly invisible Karl silhouette
to be found in the military green camouflage print, and the ingenious use of texture and
juxtaposition of different materials that gave a sense of movement to
the collection and made it very graphic and photogenic.

Il 24 Aprile è stato svelata l'Autunno Inverno 2012/13 di Karl Lagerfeld Paris. Come c'era da aspettarsi, la collezione era sparsa di elementi tipici di Lagerfeld come la predelezione per il bianco e nero, un rigore militare, una sfumatura rock - soprattutto negli accessori e infine il famoso collare che si è rivelato di tendenza generale questa stagione anche con altri stilisti.
C'erano comunque delle belle sorprese, come le macchie di colore, prevalentemente rosso e la silhouette di Karl quasi invisibile nella stampa verde militare mimetica, ma soprattutto nell'uso geniale delle texture e la giustapposizione di materiali diversi che danno un grande senso di movimento alla collezione, rendendola grafica e molto fotogenica.
